How it works
See what changes
Amber marks the small part that carries the change.
Say who can do it with fiin-
Put fiini before a bare verb for I can. Use fiik for a man and fiiki for a woman when you mean you can.
I → you (m)
I can try
you can try (m)
The ending on fiin- marks the person, and the following verb has no b-.
Use mumkin to soften a request
Start with mumkin when asking if something is possible. It makes a short request sound polite and natural.
direct → polite
send me a photo (to a man)
can you send me a photo? (to a man)
Mumkin turns the same request into a polite possibility question.
